Our House
History
Anthroposophical activities in our House go back to beginning of 20th century, the very early days of Anthroposophy. The house was owned by the Hageman family until Jeanne Hageman donated it in 1989 to the Institute which was founded in 1986. Though the years, many activities have been developed in our House on the basis of individual initiatives. You can learn more about the current activities here or by dropping us an Email.
The House
The Anthroposophical Institute Rudolf Steiner is located at rue du Trône 194 in the commune of Ixelles, Brussels. The House is a typical Brussels maison de maître of the late 19th century. There is a library and two rooms for activities or meetings: the ‘Salon’ (max. 40 persons) and the ‘Pièce jardin’ (max. 8 persons). These rooms and a kitchen in the basement can be rented for activities related to anthroposophy. The House also offers a nice garden.
